SBF's Personal Finances: Bank Account & Crypto Wallets
Sam Bankman-Fried discloses the funds left in his bank account and addresses his current crypto holdings.
In January 2023, Sam Bankman-Fried shared multiple documents with me, one of which details his personal finances, crypto holdings, and consumption habits. To be clear, I am not endorsing SBF’s statements as true nor claiming them to be comprehensive. But I’ve seen debates on social media about how much cash & crypto SBF might still have stored away, so I’m just sharing Sam’s claims regarding his personal finances. He also included a spreadsheet of his Amazon purchases.
We now know of at least one piece of information Sam conveniently failed to include in this document though: a $10M gift to his father, Joseph Bankman-Fried, which currently funds his legal defense.
Sam Bankman-Fried is now on trial in the Southern District in New York. I have not spoken to Sam since he was remanded.
