Sam Bankman-Fried Extorted in Jail: Interview with Ex Mob Enforcer Gene Borrello
Ex Mob Enforcer Gene Borrello shared a dormitory with Sam Bankman-Fried at MDC Brooklyn & stood up for him in jail.
HOWDY! I got a chance to interview Gene Borrello, a former mob enforcer who was in jail with Sam Bankman-Fried. In fact, the two shared a dormitory at MDC Brooklyn in a unit intended for high profile individuals, gang dropouts, cooperators, etc. who require additional safety.
Gene tells me that SBF was on suicide watch, did not eat or shower for several days, and that he stood up for Sam when he was extorted by a gang member. We also discuss how Sam is spending his days in jail, his access to internet access, bullying, potential sentencing & much more!
Full interview is available on my YouTube channel, but I’ve also begun posting longer interviews as podcasts on Spotify & Apple Podcasts. If you could leave me a cute lil five star review, I would greatly appreciate it since I’m completely new to these platforms. 🥺
NOTE: Apologies for the technical difficulties, this was my first time ever interviewing anyone by video (and in fact, the only other person I’ve ever interviewed in my life besides Sam Bankman-Fried 😅 ).
Incredible story. Perhaps you can find Jeffrey Epstein's prison dorm-mates as well. Think you'll enjoy my analysis about SBF/FTX and Sequoia: https://yuribezmenov.substack.com/p/sequoia-ftx-214million-disaster
It isn't really extortion, it's just how prison works. A dude with more money than muscle needs to acquire a Man if he wants to survive. The Man takes the money and provides the muscle, or more precisely the deterrent against other muscles.
(Been there, done that.)
