I tried to get Sam Bankman-Fried to try ecstasy

While Sam Bankman-Fried was still on house arrest, I suggested he try taking ecstasy since he struggles to feel positive emotion. I was mostly joking. 😅 Sam turned me down anyway because breaking the law would be a breach of his bail conditions, but it’s still an amusing tidbit. Sam didn’t actually know what ecstasy is made of or what it does. I’m basically the bad kid in a D.A.R.E. commercial.
